I'm often asked, "why the pseudonym?' When I began writing books for young readers, I was concerned about all the books I'd written up to that point. If my young readers enjoyed the books I wrote for them, they might look for my other work — which definitely was not written for them. I decided to use a pseudonym and had my wife Dawn think one up for me. She came up with Joseph Locke. These books are all out-of-print but they can be found at various times on Amazon.com or Ebay for those interested in reading them.
